Follow Top bloggers to become top money making blogger

But  there are some  that do ( up to a certain extent) reveal the blogging secrets, and the smart people  can get the clues from their posts (to get the bigger picture) from the information revealed. Makemoney online is a hard game  and i got some of my favourite bookmarked blogs that give me regular useful information , that you might find useful too which i have listed below.

Some of the blogs that i follow surely are some of the biggest money earners on the internet,  but in relation to handing out any useful tips to making money,  only a few of these blogs occasionally post anything useful when they are not flogging stuff. So i have ranked these blog’s below in order of importance to me and for you. Some of these  unfortunately as John Chow states, have pretty much become “internet marketing whores”  and they sometimes are blogs  that “who flog, more than blog”  ( yeh yeh !! sure  John Chow)

Making his money selling on amazon  , from his blog and now makes money buying and selling websites and also now bombards me with emails selling software  and plugins daily which is just about starting to annoy me with  its increased frequency . But he still dishes out good stuff , so ill hang on for a while receiving those emails

Makes money from his blog, amazon  and other projects . Has a wealth of seo optimization information

I recently  tried his  opt in membership plugin without much success and some precious real estate  taken up on mu blog  but then  found out  that i can get  members more by just making my request more visible on blog  on popular posts and  making the request more actionable and  so now  don’t need his plugin. But his Blog posts are AWESOME  so yeh  ” look it up “

3. Michael Gray – http://www.wolf-howl.com/

Michael blogs about a good mix of everything like SEO, driving traffic , Blog optimization and more. I like his blogs name “wolf –Howl” and he always has excellent images to go with his post which makes his blog look so good. ( hmm… hes climbed up to no 4 ranking on google.com.au for SEO Blog ..good luck buddy to the top )

4. Darren Rowse – http://www.problogger.net/

Had to put in fellow aussie blogger “Darren Rowse” on this list, he not only has quite detailed posts on how he started earning his money online  from his forums , but also detailed posts on how he earns money from his blogs , amazon  and how he drives traffic , build memberships  and makes money from affiliates.Dig deep into his blog to get  a wealth of information.

4. John Chow – http://www.johnchow.com/

He used to publish interesting stuff   that really helped  making money online, blogging and does  that now only once in a while ,in the meantime  he is just flogging stuff , software  etc  from his website.

5. Shoemoney – http://www.shoemoney.com

I used to follow shoemoney quite fervently 4 to 5 years ago when he used to blog quite useful  and details posts on makingmoneyonline , making money from AdSense ,  Adwords strategy and blog optimization , but now he just  posts pic’s of himself with good looking chicks and  occasionally  writes some detailed informative posts on SEO and  other stuff as mentioned above.

PS: Adding the  snapshots (images ) of all the blogs to the post above ,  i will have to say “Micheal Gray” and “Darren Rowse Blog” are  the best looking in design still keeping it real in the looks department

I had a job on integrating a  ”AMAZON ASTORE” into a self hosted wordpress site. I trawled the internet for ways to best put in the “amazon astore”  to match the theme and design of the blog. I cam across  this site “ Robin Maluau – rockstar now geek” and “ Kristella’s blog” that gave me some useful tips, which probably wont make sense to some  who are not  as much technically minded. Since they  have published those useful posts for getting Amazon store to work with wordpress and blogger ,  blogger and wordpress itself has changed  and got updated to new versions  making “integrating  you amazon Astore more easy” than ever.

I  had the job of updating  a wordpress website “www.australianpropertymarket.com.au” with a Amazon product store, so  i did a bit of research  and found many articles some useful most outdated and finally  got  the amazon store nicely working  with wordpress just by copying and pasting code in wordpress. Its that siimple now !! 

Integrating Amazon A store Into wordpress / Blogger

I will show you how to integrate  you amazon store in few easy steps. Make sure you change the theme  while making the Astore  to match your store theme colours.

Create the Astore in amazon and get the inline frame embed link like below.

Got to word press , add new page   click the html mode and  post the embed  code you got into the page .Got to page attributes on your right  and switch the page template column to “page template – no sidebars” so that  your amazon sidebar is the only  sidebar that’s seen on the theme. Some themes block this feature  to not have the regular sidebar option , and you might have to mess around further with the code. Here is another example  of  the Amazon  astore Narvey Horman website on a standard wordpress template but without the Amazon sidebar ( adjusting the  width and height dimension in the  inline embed frame code of amazon will get  you this page) . Y0u can further mess around with the amazon code for width and height and change as necessary or then change the page attributes  to suit  where the “amazon page” goes on your links menu.

Affiliate marketers to be hit hard with new Affiliate Marketing Regulation & Policy

Many affiliate marketers who have flourished  and earned $$$$$$ making videos with dodgy claims  will be no more be able to do this. As with every unfortunate new regulation many honest affiliate marketers will also get hurt  and earnings affected 

A few things that are not Allowed with Some Online affilaite marketing agencies :

Vendors must submit a script prior to shooting the video. Videos will not be accepted without a script pre-review.

• Videos that portray or reference a fictionalized individual or life story, where a vendor makes false claims as part of the product pitch.
• Videos that portray or reference the vendor him or herself, where the vendor makes false claims about his earnings and experience as part of the product pitch.
• Videos which will not allow you to exit or pause. Expert endorsements without substantiation (for example, an endorsement from a doctor must have proof that the doctor has performed tests or evaluations performed by an actual doctor that has mastered the subject matter being described in the pitch).

DODGY/ fraud plugins for wordpress

I installed this  plugin and though i would do a check  to see how things are going . to my horor i found that  the  amazon link are pointing to someone else amazon id , which would obiviously be the plugin maker. So i was ytricked into handing over all my commisiions to the  this guy . DO NOT USE THIS PLUGIN  it is  a scam. IT will replace all you   amazon links with this id link “http://www.amazon.com/?_encoding=UTF8&tag=petewill-20” .

My name’s Pete and I wrote this plugin. It looks like there’s been a bit of a mixup here so I thought I’d try and clear it up for you.

Just to explain, the script does use my affilliate IDs, but *only* where you don’t provide your own. It will never overwrite your IDs, and so will never deprive you of any commission. This is explained on the page on my site for this script, on it’s page in the WordPress Plugin directory and again in the plugin’s readme.txt – so obviously I am not trying to scam anyone:

“DISCLOSURE
If you do not insert your own affiliate IDs the script will use mine. Hopefully this will help fund my book addiction!”

With this in mind, I’d appreciate it if you could update your post to correct the information.

My response: I certainly had put my id in  and this was still happening when i had used this plugin , this might have been fixed since then . so you can most certainly  have a look for yourself if you interested in this plugin  and check it outfor yourself if you like.

Moneymaking on the net is not an easy task and when the network is not paying you for your hard earn clicks and visits by people that is even more disappointing. I myself have experienced  quite a few disappointment with quite a few small marketing network affiliates.

Recently i came across a Indian Network affiliate  company  that boasts  quite a good  client base that they are promoting,  its been 2 months  now  and i still have some of their banners on my one site  and have not got nay sales or clicks , but  then i have been a bit lazy in taking them to place them in the correct spot  and then  updating the  latest ads as well.
